Aviation Operations Analyst

• Primary POC for aviation hiring processes, including recordkeeping, conducting, or assigning candidate interviews, and recommending candidates for selection. Also assists with new employee onboarding process (PIV cards, laptop requests, data locker requests, FAA email accounts, etc.)
• Designated Employer Representative for Serco’s Part 120 Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, including overseeing pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and random drug and alcohol testing, record keeping, and reporting.
• Contribute to incident/accident investigations.
• Participate in and assist Air Traffic Managers (ATM) with Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT) meetings, FAA District Telcons, Safety Risk Management panels as an air traffic control subject matter expert.
• Assist FCT Area Managers with Controller in Training (CIT) reviews and make recommendations regarding individual and program-wide training.
• Assist Area Managers and ATMs with creating and updating facility traffic management boards (requires knowledge of basic computer graphic programs)
• Assist Area Managers with processing recognition forms/applications.
• Complete Operational Resource Management audits using MS Excel, create reports of findings, and brief the appropriate Area Manager.
• Assist ATMs and controllers with the workforce management application, Time2Work, providing training and conducting audits.
• Update Aviation Program Management Office information tracking files.
• Assist with facility surveys and data information requests.
• Assist with coordination of Temporary Duty assignments for locations with critical staffing.
• Assist in organizing Aviation business meetings – Quarterly ATM Telcons, ATM Training, etc.
• Oversee data tracking and collection (ATM training, status reports, CEDAR, traffic counts, etc.) and ensure the Area Managers have the most up-to-date information.
• Use MS Word and MS Excel to create reports/forms/templates.
• Audit Second Class Medical and Control Tower Operator certificate records.

• US Citizenship
• Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to receive an FAA Security clearance (interim and final suitability)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 10 years Air Traffic Control experience with at least one Control Tower Operator rating or a Credential with a Tower Rating.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the FAA Contract Tower Program
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an air traffic manager or ATC staff management position
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
