We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Aviation Maintenance Controller & Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position combines the expertise of maintenance planning and control with hands-on mechanical work, ensuring the highest standards of aircraft maintenance and safety are achieved. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to maintaining our fleet's operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Control
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations of the fleet
- Support the DOM with assigned tasks
- Monitor aircraft status in real-time, ensuring all maintenance activities comply with regulatory standards and company procedures
- Collaborate with operations to optimize aircraft availability and minimize disruptions
- Analyze maintenance data to forecast potential issues and implement preventative measures
- Communicate with the FAA as needed
Mechanical Duties
- Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and modifications
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions
- Ensure the proper documentation of all maintenance activities and compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Stay current with the latest Aviation Maintenance practices and technologies
Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required
- Previous experience in Aviation Maintenance control and as a mechanic
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations, maintenance manuals, and aircraft systems
- Proficiency in maintenance software and diagnostic tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs dictate
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
- Must reside in and be eligible to work in the United States
