Ideal Candidate
The ideal aviation lineman candidate can effectively interact with fellow employees, supervisors, customers, and the public in a professional manner. Candidates must also possess excellent organizational skills and a working knowledge of computer applications. This position requires a continuous travel-based rotation schedule and a valid CDL license with Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements (or will have one within 90 days of hire). Transmission experience preferred.
Required Skills
- Graduated from Line School
- Minimum two (2) years Lineman experience
- Transmission experience preferred
- Self-motivated and committed to the success of the Haverfield organization
- Successfully follow OSHA and customer safety requirements
- Possess the required skills and care to protect the lives of themselves and others.
- Possess basic knowledge of materials used in line work
- Energetic, with a positive attitude
- Problem solving and Organizational Skills
- Working knowledge of computer applications
- Punctual
- Ability to receive and follow direction and takes responsibility for oneself
- Team-oriented with a professional demeanor/attitude
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a continuous travel-based rotation schedule
