The company has three different brands including Wing Aviation Group, which is a FAA Part 135 charter certificate operator, focusing on high quality service to customers in the areas of aircraft sales, management, charter, maintenance, parts, and consulting. Wing Aviation Maintenance which is a maintenance company based in Stuart, Florida focusing on high quality service to customers in aircraft maintenance. Finally, Encore Plane Parts which is an aircraft parts sales company based in Orlando, Florida focusing on aircraft parts, specifically, engine sales and leases, aircraft parts and rotable sales.
Essential Job Tasks:
  • Prepare parts for disassembly.
  • Disassemble a range of simple to complex hydraulic aircraft components that require precise placement.
  • Uses hand tools and shop power tools.
  • Utilization of comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components.
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft structural modification and repair and the ability to determine the functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
  • Operation of unique aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes, sheers, etc.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, occasionally stressful environment
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical circuits

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
  • Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat and/or crawl
  • Able to sit without standing for long periods of time
  • Capable of lifting or moving items at different heights weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Able to hear clearly verbal communications in person, on the telephone

Required Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
  • Must have Airframe and Powerplant License

Direct Reports:
  • Disassembly Technicians reports directly into this role.

Work Authorization:
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be at least 21 years of age by 1/1/20.
