Essential Job Tasks:
- Prepare parts for disassembly.
- Disassemble a range of simple to complex hydraulic aircraft components that require precise placement.
- Uses hand tools and shop power tools.
- Utilization of comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components.
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft structural modification and repair and the ability to determine the functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
- Operation of unique aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes, sheers, etc.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat and/or crawl
- Able to sit without standing for long periods of time
- Capable of lifting or moving items at different heights weighing up to 75 pounds
- Able to hear clearly verbal communications in person, on the telephone
Required Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
- Must have Airframe and Powerplant License
Direct Reports:
- Disassembly Technicians reports directly into this role.
Work Authorization:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be at least 21 years of age by 1/1/20.
