Towson University is accepting applications for the Auxiliary Services Ticket Office Clerk position. Reporting to the Auxiliary Services Ticket Office Manager, this position will support the manager and assistant manager in operation of ticketing functions for student and university events, including commencement, athletic events, and external events hosted across campus.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support and develop working relationships and organize and facilitate programing with other campus departments and external clients.
- Support manager in creation of events and maintain inventories for all events in ticketing software.
- Support the training of student employees.
- Assist the Ticket Office staff in any function of event ticketing.
- Assist in the financial settlement and accountability of all revenues collected from ticket sales.
- Support the maintenance and repair of point-of-sale equipment for satellite Ticket Offices.
- Perform additional duties as directed.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years Ticket Office/ticketing related experience.
- Knowledge and experience working with ticketing software. (Ticketmaster/Archtics preferred)
- Ability to problem solve, forecast issues, and make logical decisions in stressful situations.
- Ability to multi-task and work with interruptions, self-driven, reprioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience, and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
Salary and Benefits
$20.75 hourly. Contractual employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage.

This position will be open for a minimum of 14 days.
