Pre-Owned / Used Car Sales Manager
Responsible for customer retention and profitability in the pre-owned vehicles department
The Pre-Owned Sales Manager fulfills responsibilities primarily through effective personnel management, knowledge of market potential, establishing performance standards, and a keen awareness of each department's break-even data. In this competitive business, the Sales Manager will promote and drive results while creating a positive working environment.
Qualifications for Pre-Owned / Used Car Sales Manager:
Our next Automotive Sales Manager must have previous automotive leadership experience to be considered for this role.
- Strong trade appraisal skills.
- Auction Access Preferred
- Reynolds, First Look, and ACV auction experience preferred.
- MS Office knowledge; and computer software,
- Internet proficiency a MUST!
- Ability to merchandise cars online and on the property Self-Starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to multi task.
- Excellent critical thinking ability.
- Steady work and performance history.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be a strong closer and possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through.
- Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a successful sales team.
