Job Description
Now hiring burned out, unappreciated automotive technicians.
I know it is hard to take that leap and apply, I will try and make it easier for you.
I am Robert, I own Robert's Automotive Repairs. I know how it feels to be unappreciated, I know how it feels to not have a voice, or even when you have one it goes unheard. Working with two faced people that will stab you in the back when it benefits them. Favortism, etc.
I dealt with this for a long time in the corporate dealer group automotive world.
I could not deal with the drama and politics anymore. It was not worth the money.
I opened my business and found, while I am far from perfect, my life feels like it matters again. I feel alive again.
I invite you to come feel alive again.
Cost on parts, usage of the shop, christmas parties, bonuses. And then some. Not the bs christmas parties that happened at the dealership in the middle of the shop floor either. The bring your wife, girlfriend, or both of them with to the dress up, sit down, waited on, fun dinner party.
We service all makes and models. Small to large jobs.
Always work to do. Lots of experience in house.
Ability to learn and grow with the company. Not very often, but occasional internal transmission repair. Typically performed by myself. We frequently repair the internals of engines rather than replacement if it is cost effective for the customer.
We do not work weekends. Never will. We are very family oriented.
We are currently looking for someone with 5 or more years experience. Entertaining all applications.
We like to pride ourselves on being your last job. Our recent opening is due to retirement.
You will not likely find anyone speaking badly about us, our work, or employment with us.
Pride is big here. As it should be with yourself.
Unlike most places, I do not care about your past history, whether it be personal or work related. The past is the past. Do not lie about it, but do not think it will be considered in any negative way.
