Automotive Technician

Scotty's Auto Repair in Riverside, CA is looking to hire a full-time Automotive Technician who can do it all! Do you love working on Asian and Domestic cars? This full-time mechanic position earns a competitive hourly wage of $32 - $60 per hour, based on experience. We are happy to keep compensation a topic that is open for discussion. We also pay hourly wages for each of the 8 holidays that we are closed. In addition to excellent pay, we provide top-notch benefits, including health insurance after a 90-day probation period, a SIMPLE IRA with a 3% company match, and an employee discount. Additionally, we offer sick pay and 5 days of paid vacation after the first year of employment, and 10 days of paid vacation after the second year. As an Automotive Technician, you are the lifeblood of our relationship with our customers because you maintain and repair their vehicles for years after the sale. Whether you are running diagnostics on those hard-to-diagnose cars or completing simple tasks like lube oil and filter changes, we need your knowledge and strong work ethic to help us keep our customers on the road. QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience as a diagnostic technician
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
• Can produce 35 billable hours in a 42-hour workweek with excellent paperwork documentation

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time mechanic position typically works Monday - Friday from 7:45 AM - 6:00 PM with no weekend work! We try our best to be packed up and ready to leave the shop by 5:30 PM. When needed, overtime pay is given daily.
