```Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about cars and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
- Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate estimates for repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Perform brake repairs, alignments, and other automotive services
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
Skills:
- Sales: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, explain repair options, and upsell services when appropriate.
- Automotive electrical systems: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in vehicles.
- Mechanic: Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair various automotive problems.
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as required.
- Auto estimating: Familiarity with estimating software to provide accurate repair quotes.
- Align: Experience performing wheel alignments.
- Automotive repair: Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair procedures.
- Weld: Proficiency in welding and fabricating parts as needed.
- Hand tools: Proficient in using a variety of hand tools for automotive repairs.
- Brake repair: Experience in diagnosing and repairing brake systems.```
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week
