Automotive Technician

Acurit Auto Repair is a leading automotive repair shop specializing in providing high-quality service and repair for all types of vehicles. We have been serving our community for over 27 years and pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and a passion for fixing cars. You should be detail-oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Conduct diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and find appropriate solutions
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Ensure all repairs are carried out according to manufacturer's guidelines and best practices
• Test drive vehicles after repairs to verify functionality and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
• Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• ASE certification in Automotive Technology or equivalent
• Minimum of [2] years of experience as an Automotive Technician
• Proven track record of successfully diagnosing and repairing various vehicle makes and models
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
