Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to specialize in the maintenance, repair, and
enhancement of autonomous vehicles. This role is essential for the smooth operation and
innovation of our AV fleet.
Responsibilities
● Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of vehicle systems, including
chassis, suspension, brakes, steering, and throttle.
● Diagnose and repair mechanical issues specific to autonomous vehicles like sensor
installation and alignments.
● Perform modification and replacement for aftermarket autonomous vehicles.
● Participate in validation tests after repairing or replacing.
● Documentation of processes, procedures and results.
● Experience with heavy-duty trucks maintenance including diagnostic and repairs.
● In-house manufacturing experience.
● Capability with understanding CAD drawings and BOMs.
Requirements
● ASE Certification or relevant technical certification in automotive mechanics, with a focus
on emerging technologies.
● Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting autonomous
vehicle systems.
● Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
● Experience in automotive mechanics, with specific skills in advanced driver-assistance
systems (ADAS) is preferred
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
