As a Service Manager, you will oversee the operation of the Automotive Service department of the dealership. The Service Manager will assist in the development and growth of the dealership service department.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares complete and accurate estimate of the cost for labor and parts
- Monitors the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently
- Works closely with service advisors, technicians as well as General Manager to promote and motivate customer satisfaction
- Assist with safety and housekeeping items
- Able to cover dispatching, shop flow, and assist service writers so that we can maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately.
- Supervising all service department personnel as well as monitoring their performance in servicing customers.
- Understanding customers' requirements and concerns; matching requirements and concerns to various service options.
- Creating goals and objectives for the department, which include an annual operating budget, and a marketing plan to promote new business.
- Drive production and enforce quality standards
