Automotive Service Advisor

Central Maine Motors Auto Group has an immediate opening for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor who has a desire to assist customers with their Automotive Service needs and seeking to join a top notch Dealership organization with numerous advancement opportunities available. An Automotive Service Advisor is the first point of contact for service activities and acts as the liaison between customers and the technicians. We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to help ensure our customers are satisfied and that their vehicle will be repaired right the first time and in the shortest time possible.

The ideal Service Writer is capable of treating the business as if it were their own, meeting our high standards, and working in a fast-paced environment. This is a salaried position with commissions.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers in a friendly, prompt and courteous manner
• Obtaining customer and vehicle information, listening carefully to customer concerns and reporting them accurately
• Determining maintenance needs of vehicle based on age and mileage
• Preparing repair estimates
• Monitoring the progress of customers vehicles each day and keeping customers updated of their progress
• Explaining all work and charges to customers

Candidates should have:

• High moral character
• Professional attitude with the ability to develop solid customer relationships
• An appreciation for teamwork and ability to work with others to advance the vision of the dealership
• Strong communication skills
• A helpful, friendly and flexible attitude toward customers and co-workers
• Strong computer skills, Dealerbuilt preferred but not required.
• Minimum one-year Automotive Service Advisor experience in a dealership
