Job Overview:
We are looking for a mechanic that is not only a general mechanic but is capable of performance modifications. You can say this is for someone who is looking for side work. This is not a full time position and does not offer any benefits. We are looking for someone who has availability in the evenings. All of our jobs are by appointment only. Pay will always be based on the job, whether we decide if pay will be hourly or by percentage of the job.

Responsibilities:
- Performing vehicle modification upgrades.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, such as engine problems or brake malfunctions.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Conduct inspections and test drives to assess vehicle performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with employers to explain repairs and provide recommendations. You will take notes with findings and repairs needed to be done and submit them to your employers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role. Prefer someone with knowledge of performance upgrades.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge: Possessing a strong understanding of automotive mechanics, including engine systems, electrical systems, and suspension systems.
- Schematics: Reading and interpreting schematics to diagnose and repair vehicle issues.
- Equipment repair: Repairing or replacing faulty equipment or parts within vehicles.
- Assembly: Assembling components or parts of vehicles during the repair process.
- Shocks and struts: Diagnosing and repairing issues with shocks and struts.
- Brake repair: Performing brake inspections, repairs, and replacements.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 40 per week
