Automotive Parts Counter Person

PARTS COUNTER PERSON NEEDED AT OUR BUSY DEALERSHIP:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Counter Person to join our team. The right candidate will be responsible for fulfilling orders, working to provide timely and accurate service and parts to the service technicians, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties:
- Fulfill customer and technician orders by locating and retrieving the correct parts
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register with accuracy
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure parts are properly stocked
- Answer phone calls and provide excellent phone etiquette
- Communicate effectively with customers and technicians to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Utilize computer systems, including Excel, to track inventory and process orders

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an Automotive Parts or retail environment preferred
- Strong math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems, including Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
