Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager the core buyers responsible for acquiring core in a geographic area and building relationships within the Collision Industry. The position will require driving to meet sellers of headlamps, negotiating pricing, handling, and delivery back to the facility. Core buyers will help unload and organize lamps to get them inventoried. Detail records of expenses and cost will be required.
Job Duties:
- Develop and manage relationships with body shops and technicians selling lamps.
- Strong negotiating skills will be required.
- Driving and managing money will be required daily.
- It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure the vehicle maintenance is underwent and cleaned.
- Work closely with engineering to deliver high quality products to the market that position BBB in a favorable position vs. the competition.
- Maintain competitive pricing on the roads and what vehicles have Technical Service Bulletins (TSB’s) from body techs.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in any facility needs when necessary.
- Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a mostly uncontrolled environment. The person will work out of a van in what may be adverse weather conditions. Driving will be common and the ability to load and onload vans with lights will be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting while driving 60%, standing/walking 40%.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds is required.

Minimum qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager
- 5+ years of experience in OE or Automotive Aftermarket market
- High School degree or equivalent with a preference of a bachelor’s degree.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Good understanding of both financial reports and budgeting process.
Minimum experience
- Strong overall computer skills Web, Email, FTP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with potential clients and staff at all levels
- Strong analytical skills; make educated decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
- Problem solver; capable of finding creative solutions and ingenuity to overcome obstacles
- Experience in working with technicians and management
- Desire to expand personal competencies and capabilities through education
- Bi-lingual language (Spanish) a plus
