Automotive Mechanic

Greystone Auto Group is a small, family owned dealership located in Grand Rapids. We buy/sell vehicles, boats, RVs, etc. and are looking for someone who is willing to do whatever is asked of them as demands are constantly changing as we grow. Experience is required, and the pay will depend on the amount of experience and ability to do the overall job. Additionally, the applicant must be trustworthy, driven, reliable, and has to be able to work well within a team setting.

We work on all types of vehicles, but tend to work mostly on Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Acura, and Subaru. Experience with those types of vehicles is preferred, and especially experience with timing belts/chains. There is definite potential for growth in this role for the right person! Duties
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and transmission issues.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components, such as belts, hoses, spark plugs, and brakes.

Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or technician.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain, electrical, air brake systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required in an automotive repair environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 60 per week
