AWS is seeking a Business Development Leader for US East manufacturing customers as part of our Industry Business Unit (IBU). You will work closely on building AWS' business strategy and setting the strategic priorities, business initiative and Go To Market for our customers in Smart Manufacturing Operations. You be a member of a team to drive industry innovation by leading strategic business initiatives across the top Manufacturing companies in the region.
Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for building and leading new business within AWS Manufacturing customers. This includes identifying market signals from AWS Customers and Partners for needed solutions solving customer use cases, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders (Services teams, Industry Products team, ProServe, SA team, AWS ISV and SI Partners, and AWS Customers with whom we perform co-development) to build needed solutions for each targeted use case. As such, you will be directly involved in strategic dialogs with lighthouse AWS customers and partners regarding collaborations.
You will also be responsible for contributing and delivering Sales Enablement for these Solutions across AWS sales territories with collaboration from AWS and partner enablement teams.
This key role will be highly visible at the most senior levels of AWS and Amazon. This role collaborates with technology leaders to ensure a comprehensive approach on how business, technology, and partner motions align and are able to accelerate as an integrated strategy for existing and new customer implementations. You will work with Industry tech leaders, SAs, service team leaders, Industry Products, ProServe, WWSO, and Partner teams to shape new investment recommendations for the business, including building investment business cases.
This role works with the Industry Marketing team to develop content for both external audiences and internal field sales organization audiences. You will collaborate on building out Manufacturing Industry Innovation Centers relating to Smart Manufacturing and will help design new programs to drive adoption of offerings to support customer business outcomes for Manufacturing areas as part of customer facing sales motions.
This role works closely with Sales, Solution Architect, Customer Solution Management, and Partner teams to provide market expertise and support. You will present business reviews to senior management on progress and actions to expand reach and impact in industry.
