Automotive Customer Service Team Leader

We are looking for an Automotive Customer Service Team Leader to join our Service Team. The Service Customer Team Leader will be responsible for the efficient and professional operation of the Service reception, write-up and merchandising of the Nick Mayer Service Customer experience.

The Service Management Team Leader will work in tandem with the Service Production Team Leader.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish sales goals and objectives for the department.
• Hiring, training, motivation, counseling, and monitoring the performance of all service department personnel.
• Assist with the development and administration of an annual operating budget for the service department.
• Maintains up to date and accurate reporting to the general management and the factory.
• Monitors the performance of the department using the available reporting, tracking systems and surveys, taking the appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Develops and implements a marketing plan which promotes new and repeat business.
• Understands, keeps abreast, and complies with local, state, and federal regulations that affect service operations such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know and others.
• Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
• Directs, Supervises, and schedules the activities of all department employees.
• Monitors parts orders with the Parts Manager to ensure accuracy availability and timely delivery.

Qualifications:

• Previous service management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience leading and managing Service Advisors, Technicians and customer facing employees.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer experience.
• Transportation/logistic experience.
• Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships.
• Technical automotive knowledge.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
