Are you a skilled Automotive Body Technician with a passion for cars and a desire to work in a dynamic, exciting environment? We are currently seeking a Permanent Automotive Body Technician to join our talented team in the Engineering industry. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition following accidents or other damage. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
As an Automotive Body Technician, you will:
1. Evaluate vehicle damage and determine necessary repair strategies.
2. Disassemble vehicles and parts for repair and reassembly.
3. Execute body and fender repairs using various tools and techniques.
4. Perform collision repair tasks, including frame straightening and alignment.
5. Utilize your ASE Certification and iCAR knowledge to deliver high-quality, efficient repairs.
6. Work closely with the rest of our team to ensure the timely completion of projects.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies and industry regulations.
8. Communicate effectively with customers, explaining complex repairs in an understandable way.
9. Continually update your knowledge and skills, staying abreast of industry developments and new techniques.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Automotive Body Technician role will have:
1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in auto body repair.
2. ASE Certification or iCAR training and certification
3. Proficiency in vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
4. Extensive experience in the repair of body and fenders.
5. Expertise in collision repair.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and customer service skills.
