Automotive Apprentice

This is a paid Automotive Apprenticeship program approved by the Maryland State Department of Labor. Apprentices work, learn and earn in a local automotive shop and spend one day per week in a classroom with an instructor at the Classic Motor Museum of St. Michaels. The program is free of charge to approved candidates. In the end, students who complete the program are eligible to take the ASE (Automotive Standard of Excellence) certification tests.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior automotive technicians in performing vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Learn and develop skills in equipment repair and maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries
- Attend class one day per week via an instructor-led online learning environment at CMM in St. Michaels, Maryland.

Requirments:
- Must be 18 years or older and pass a drug screening test
- Must have a valid driver's license
