Automation Test Engineer

The Senior Test Engineer must be able to meet the key criteria below:

1. Location: 100% remote. If able to be onsite in Orlando or Rockledge, FL a plus.
2. Years' Experience: 7+ years professional experience
3. Education: Bachelor in IT related field
4. Security Clearance: IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to meet the requirements to obtain a Secret security clearance. NOTE: This security clearance requires United States Citizenship
5. Work Authorization: Must show that applicant is legally permitted to work in the United States.
6. Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
7. Key Skills:
   • Experience with User Acceptance Testing
   • Experience with developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
   • Automation test experience with Selenium
   • Experience with MS Playwright, Cypress, or other Automation Testing frameworks/tools a plus
   • Experience with LoadRunner, and other manual testing tools
   • Performance test experience a plus
   • Experience with Salesforce a plus

Overview
Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation data collection systems? As a Test Engineer at IBR, you will support the Agile based engineering of a robust, secure and scalable enterprise customer relationship management solution. This position will work closely with IT teams to design, code, test, and implement application features and capabilities for an enterprise portal built on the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute system level test procedures in an Agile environment ensuring the system meets the complex functional, performance and latency requirements.
• Demonstrate expertise with Java and Java Script with Selenium WebDriver in a Data Driven and/or behavior driven Framework.
• Analyze requirements to generate artifacts table and test approach for automated test scripts development.
• Review testing documentation, develop testing standards, define criteria for testing, analyze test results, and present results to developers and end users.
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project roadmap or delivery dates
• Participate in product design reviews, providing input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
• Work with Atlassian tool suites including JIRA, Zephyr etc.
• Design, develop and execute complex automated software test plans in order to identify and address user problems and their causes.
• Provide support for test readiness reviews, formal system verification of the requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in IT related field
• Must have 7+ years experience
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Experience with User Interface Acceptance Testing, 508 Compliance, backend testing, software testing
• Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of quality assurance testing automation
• Experience with developing software test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Experience with Rational Test Suites, HP ALM, QTP, LoadRunner, Zephyr, Selenium and other tools a plus
• Knowledge of back-end testing
• Experience in all or some of the following programming platform:
  • Linux and Bash scripting
  • Java and JavaScript frameworks in HTML5/CSS3 context (AngularJS, jQuery, D3)
  • RESTful APIs/JSON
  • SQL
• Experience working in DevOps setting (i.e. GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, etc.) a plus

• Experience with all phases of the SDLC as it applies to software testing activities.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High energy; ability to manage time in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
• Should be a team-player, quick learning, proactive and a positive attitude.
• Salesforce experience a plus

Physical Demands
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse.
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily indoors at a well-lit office environment. The environment is normally air conditioned, but conditions may change dependent upon circumstances. Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and rapid judgements. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
