1. Support daily production operations, minimize machine downtime and maximize parts per hour while maintaining quality.
2. Identify systemic issues with complex assembly equipment, determine root cause and implement solution to ensure overall system functions properly.
3. Able to program, integrate, modify or connect and troubleshoot at a proficient level with all manufacturing applications: robotics, sensors, vision inspection, robotic vision guidance, leak testing, lasers, PLC, HMI, etc.
4. Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks concurrently.
5. Involved in development of new assembly processes or equipment technology.
6. Involved in the design of new equipment and prove-out on the production floor.
7. Technical understanding of plastics joining operations and the function of each machine: vibration, hot plate, ultrasonic, thermal, IR, infrastake, etc.
8. Assist with operator and technician training on new equipment or processes.
9. Follow all safety procedures including but not limited to: LOTO, spill prevention control and countermeasures, fall protection, PPE when entering electrical enclosure, etc.
10. Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
11. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
12. Follow company policies, procedures and guidelines including the company handbook.
