Hyve Solutions is seeking an Automation & Robotics Technician. This individual will demonstrate a proven track-record of servicing automation equipment. Requirements:
- Streamline the manufacturing process and make it as efficient as possible while still maintaining product quality and adhering to internal protocols and external regulations.
- Work with operations and manufacturing leaders, engineers, and vendors to determine optimal solutions for automating their applications.
- Developing and modifying PLC, HMI programs and computer vision.
- Optimize robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality for our customers.
- Identify, understand, and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Performing preventive or corrective maintenance on automation systems and components.
- Physical ability to work on and around industrial equipment, including occasional lifting to 50lbs.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience working with the implementation of automation, robotics, and vision systems
- Experience with electrical design, schematics, control system integration, and analysis of electrical applications of automated machinery
- Working knowledge and experience in programming and troubleshooting - PLC, Robot, Vision
- Degree in a technical field with emphasis on automation/robotics is a plus
- Experienced with installing automation equipment
- Vision experience including program modifications
- PLC programming and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with ABB systems and Control logic PLC
- Pneumatics and Hydraulic experience is an advantage.
