Talento Search Group has an opening for an Automation Technician in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. This is a direct-hire, 1st Shift position with a starting pay of $28 - $32 per hour depending upon experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Programming of PLC's and knowledge of AB/Rockwell programming software
- Able to maintain and troubleshoot robotics systems, HMI components, control network components and motor controls
- Assist with development of automation equipment specification documents
- Assist with validation processes, qualification activities, design reviews, equipment upgrades/installations
Experience Needed:
- Associate Degree in Mechatronics, Automation, or related
- At least three years recent automation / robotic systems experience
- PLC, HMI, SCADA interfaces
- Strong electrical back to include PLC, HMI, SCADA interfaces
- Strong mechanical maintenance background
- Design knowledge highly preferred
