Ashley Furniture has a “Growth Mindset”, and once you join our team, you’ll learn from the best in the business.What will you do?- Design and develop innovative solutions using CAD software and other design tools.- Create detailed 2D and 3D models of products or components.- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the structural integrity and performance of designs.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for design projects.- Assemble prototypes and test designs to ensure functionality and quality.- Conduct technical writing to document design processes, specifications, and test results.- Utilize 2D animation software to create visual representations of designs.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.- Proven experience in designing and developing products or components.- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for creating 2D and 3D models.- Strong knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.Note: Experience with building prototypes and knowledge of manufacturing processes are preferred but not required.This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented Designer to contribute to the development of innovative products.
