Primary Talent Partners has a 12-month contract opportunity as an AutoCAD Drafter - Engineer II position with a leading medical device manufacturing company at their Boulder, CO site. The pay range being offered for this role is $25 to $30 per hour.

Job Oberview:
As an AutoCAD Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the modification and creation of manufacturing assembly aid fixtures for medical device processes. Your primary responsibilities will include updating drawings, material selection, ordering components, and collaborating with Manufacturing Engineers to implement design updates. This position requires expertise in AutoCAD, Creo, drafting, fixture design, and experience with Windchill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modify or create manufacturing assembly aid fixtures for medical device processes.
- Update drawings and designs using AutoCAD and Creo.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to implement design updates.
- Select materials and order components for fixture fabrication.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
- Utilize Windchill for revision control.
- Provide technical support in the areas of production, operations, and maintenance.
- Work with Operators in a manufacturing setting to optimize work processes.
- Contribute design modifications to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements:
- AutoCAD proficiency (must have minimum 2 years experience)
- CREO expertise.
- Drafting skills.
- Fixture design or modification experience.
- Familiarity with Windchill.
- Solidworks proficiency.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Previous work with Operators in a manufacturing setting.
- Background in a heavily regulated industry, preferably medical.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Vocational or technical education/certification is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under moderate supervision and as an effective team member.
