Prestige Autobody is looking for a Experienced Painter
Key Responsibilities:
Paint Application:
- Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns, ensuring an even and smooth finish.
- Mix and match paint colors to vehicle specifications.
Surface Preparation:
- Address imperfections and ensure surfaces are ready for paint application.
Color Matching:
- Skillfully match paint colors to the original vehicle finish.
- Blend and layer paint to achieve a seamless appearance.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and clean paint guns, spray booths, and other painting equipment.
- Report any equipment issues for prompt resolution.
Quality Control:
- Inspect finished paint jobs for quality and accuracy.
- Make any necessary touch-ups or corrections.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling paints and chemicals.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Body Shop Painter in an automotive repair setting.
- Proficient in mixing and applying automotive paint.
- Strong attention to detail and color-matching skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to paint and chemicals.
- Certification or training in auto body painting is a plus.
