Job Title: Automotive Sales Associate
Location: Renton, WA
Position Overview:
AutoCareer Connect is in search of an enthusiastic and driven Automotive Sales Associate to join our partner's thriving team at Car Pros Renton Hyundai. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about cars and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. The Automotive Sales Associate will be instrumental in guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing process, from initial inquiry to final sale. This position requires a deep understanding of various car models, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and memorable buying experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and guide customers as they appear in the showroom to proceed into the sales process.
- Assist the customers in selecting vehicles by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
- Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
- Build strong rapport with customers.
- Perform test drives with potential buyers and demonstrate automotive features.
- Complete paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including but not limited to, providing accurate and complete information in CRM systems.
- Maintain an updated knowledge of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
- Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Proven track record in automotive sales or a similar customer-focused selling role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and persuade customers.
- Basic understanding of car mechanics and the automotive industry.
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in marketing or a related field is a plus.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Additional Information:
This position is based at Car Pros Renton Hyundia and may involve working hours during weekends and some holidays to meet the dealership's needs.
