Responsibilities – Parts Advisor: 

• Work with all parts vendors to organize receiving, distribution, and storage of all parts inside the Collision Center
• Verify physical part numbers to invoices and check-in vendor’s copy of all invoices
• Mark all parts received, each corresponding line on the Parts Worksheet with a highlighter as the parts are received
• Verify all parts are correct by mirror matching with damaged parts to ensure that the parts are correct & accurate
• Order supplemental parts per shop’s Collision Parts Ordering Procedure 
• Assist all technicians with parts issues to ensure on time delivery and reduced repair cycle times
• Advise Management when wrong or damaged parts are received for work in progress and provide new ETA
• Remove all parts from shipping cartons & check for damage
• Maintain clean and orderly Parts Staging areas consistent with Operational Process
• Other projects as assigned by the BodyWerks Parts Manager

Qualifications/Requirements – Parts Advisor:

• Previous Auto Parts Department, Retail, or Body Shop Parts Department experience required
• Basic understanding of automotive components and systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
• Must be focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
