Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Auto Glass Technician or a trainee to perform a variety of tasks related to the repair and replacement of automotive glass components. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Glass Repair and Replacement: Repair and replace damaged windshields, side windows, and rear windows on various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
• Assessment: Inspect and assess the extent of damage to determine the appropriate repair or replacement method.
• Precision Work: Execute repairs with precision and attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality workmanship.
• Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow industry-standard safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers professionally, providing explanations of the repair/replacement process and answering any questions they may have.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment regularly to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Documentation: Complete accurate service records, invoices, and documentation for each job performed.
• Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of glass, adhesives, and other necessary materials.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure it meets industry standards and customer expectations.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques through training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Auto Glass Technician or related automotive repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Certification from a recognized Auto Glass repair or replacement program is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy glass components and stand for extended periods.
