Auto Body General Manager

National brand paint and collision center is looking for an experienced Auto Body Shop Manager responsible for supervising operations in one our shops in Phoenix, AZ.

We are looking for someone that has leadership and team building experience in a production style setting. The ideal candidate would have experience in quality control, customer relations, management and working well with customers to provide exceptional service. This position does require meeting tight deadlines, providing leadership to employees, providing excellent quality of work to meet demands of customers, and maintaining our high standards of our corporate image. Depending on experience, we may place you in a management training role as an assistant manager or production manager until we feel you are capable of running one of our shops.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Employee Supervision
• Sense of urgency in meeting deadlines
• Assigning employees and contractors and following up on results
• Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
• Review assignments with supervisor and ensure understanding of work required
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts
• Maintain physical condition of body shop facility by planning and implementing a regular housekeeping program and inspecting all equipment
• Schedule maintenance on equipment
• Prepare and issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
• Analyze logistical problems and produce new solutions
• Comply with applicable procedures and regulations regarding monitoring, reporting, labeling, applying, and disposing of work-related materials
• Observe all applicable job-related safety and health procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 2-year body shop management experience
• 3+ years of paint and body experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have related paint & body experience including body, paint and detail
• Proven track record of leadership skills
• Pass Drug Screen, Criminal Background Check and MVR
• E-verify participant and EEO

Experience:

Pay:

• $65,000 to $110,000 per year depending on experience
• Bonus incentive based on production negotiable
• Multiple locations

• 10 hour shift
