Job Description:
  • Grow and develop the Oil & Gas audit practice taking ownership managing the practice, ability to quickly build a network of business contacts and referral sources
  • Function as an industry leader through the establishment of a professional reputation and network
  • Lead all phases of the audit process, ensure quality assurance standards are being practiced while providing exceptional client service
  • Develop a thorough assessment and understanding of client's business needs and objectives, integrate a deep understanding of a professional services environment to achieve desired results
  • Ensure that all deliverables are prepared accurately while anticipating, identifying and addressing client concerns and problems as they arise
  • Work within budgetary and time constraints while providing high-level client satisfaction and audit quality
  • Promote new ideas and business solutions which result in allowable extended services to existing clients
  • Help build a dedicated and motivated team of professionals to accomplish the vision and strategy positioning Crowe as a leader in Oil & Gas assurance services
  • Ensure professional development for self and team through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards
  • Serve as a role model, providing mentoring and training to staff members

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required, masters or advanced degree desirable
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
  • 12+ years of experience providing financial statement audit services in public accounting preferred, strong expertise in the Oil & Gas industry
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
  • Innovative and forward-thinking leader with a proven history in building, developing, and sustaining clients and teams providing exception client service
  • Ability to strategically plan for growth and cross-sell firm services to existing client base while adhering to independence standards
