We are looking for an experienced auditor to join our assurance group as a part-time Audit Manager. The Audit Manager auditor will work closely and be mentored directly by the partners of Brontide. Brontide offers a work life balance with the ability to work from home, starting with four weeks of paid time off and 8 firm holidays. Responsibilities
- Manage and lead audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting phases, while adhering to established timelines and quality standards.
- Review financial statements, accounting records, and internal controls to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Identify risks, evaluate controls, and develop audit procedures to mitigate potential issues.
- Collaborate with internals teams and clients to address audit findings, resolve discrepancies, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Mentor and support junior auditors, providing guidance, training, and feedback to foster their professional growth and development.
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
- Expand industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, regular self-study, and formal training opportunities.
- Perform other job related duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in auditing, with demonstrated proficiency in leading audit engagements and managing client relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP is required.
- Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering accurate and insightful audit reports.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and facilitate constructive dialogue.
- Ability to meet deadlines and budget time efficiently.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
