Job Details


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audit Associate, CPA to join our dynamic finance team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements and employee benefit plans. This is a permanent position that offers excellent growth opportunities and the chance to work with a diverse range of clients in the finance industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough and comprehensive audits of financial statements, employee benefit plans, and other financial records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, identify potential risks, and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.
3. Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings to management, highlighting areas of concern and proposing actionable recommendations for improvement.
4. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service and acting as a trusted advisor on financial and compliance matters.
5. Stay up-to-date with evolving industry regulations and best practices, and proactively apply this knowledge to improve audit methodologies and processes.
6. Assist in the planning and execution of special projects, including due diligence reviews, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
7. Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.
8. Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and examinations, ensuring seamless coordination and timely resolution of any issues or inquiries.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA certification is required.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in audit, assurance, or a related field, preferably within the finance industry.
3. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
4. Proficiency in conducting financial statement and employee benefit plan audits, including planning, risk assessment, testing, and reporting.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex financial and compliance issues.
6. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to accurately interpret and analyze financial data.
7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to clients and management.
8. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
9. Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
10. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous learning, with a strong desire to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
