Audit Associate

Responsibilities:

Financial Audit: Conducting financial audits of companies, organizations, or government entities to assess their financial health and accuracy of financial reporting.

Internal Controls Evaluation: Reviewing and evaluating internal controls to ensure effectiveness and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Risk Assessment: Identifying potential risks and areas of concern within financial statements and operational processes, and proposing solutions to mitigate these risks.

Documentation and Reporting: Documenting audit procedures, findings, and conclusions in comprehensive reports. Communicating audit results to management and providing recommendations for improvement.

Compliance Verification: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Data Analysis: Analyzing financial data and trends to identify anomalies or irregularities that may require further investigation.

Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other members of the audit team to plan and execute audit engagements efficiently and effectively.

Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality and integrity of audit work by adhering to professional standards and guidelines established by regulatory bodies and auditing standards.

Salary: $47,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
