A Private Healthcare practice in the Haledon, NJ area is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist and Audiologist with sales experience for a part-time or ful-time position. The ideal candidate must be licensed in the state of NJ. If you have a sales aptitude and a willingness to learn our proven sales and dispensing process, an exciting opportunity awaits you. This is a dispensing practice with the focus on providing high quality instruments and services to our patients. This is a flexible part-time or full position.Daily tasks and responsibilities Establish effective rapport with patients, conduct audiometric testing, and make appropriate recommendations for hearing aids. Establishing realistic expectations from the first appointment. Make ear impressions and ear molds, order instruments. Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, cleaning, repairs, questions or problems. Counsel patients and their family members effectively, answering questions and explaining the results to everyone professionally. Maintain documentation and patient files. Qualifications 1+ year hearing aid dispensing experience Active and current hearing aid dispensing . Bi-Lingual a plus. The successful Dispenser will also possess the following: Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients The ability to work in a team environment The ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians
