SUMMARY
The Visual/Lighting Technician handles daily technical operations and first line maintenance for live, audio and video entertainment within the lounge and banquet facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must possess Intermediate - Advanced audio mixing skills, Basic - Intermediate lighting design and programming skills.
- Comprehension and execution of artist riders, stage plots and input lists.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance functions, routine filter changes and routine lamp replacements.
- Experience with corporate / banquet AV set ups.
- Set up and operate audio and video equipment including microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, and related equipment for regularly scheduled events, presentations, promotions, and special events.
- Able to operate man lifts and work at heights above 20 feet.
- Set up, operate, adjust, service and repair electronic equipment.
- Maintain strong communication with supervisor regarding status and functionality of equipment.
- Assist with in-house audio, lighting and/or video equipment as well as coordinates with entertainment and corporate groups equipment and needs.
- Aids the Marketing department and supports AV/Entertainment Technician and Entertainment Manager as needed.
- Performs other job related and compatible duties as assigned.

- 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to obtain and hold a gaming license in respective jurisdiction.
- Must be familiar in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
