Job Objective & Safety/Security Sensitive Designation
This position is designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
This position is considered Essential Personnel under the LRCVB Inclement weather policy.
JOB OBJECTIVE: To provide technical assistance in the installation, set up and operation of audio-visual equipment to include sound, lighting, stage equipment, cable television, and stage set-ups for events held at Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau facilities.

Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements and Supervisory Responsibilities
These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of two (2) years of vocational-technical school or college coursework in Television and Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, or a related area, and two (2) year of experience with stage lighting, sound systems, and audio-visual equipment, or a related area. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
  • Must show proof of valid automobile insurance before being approved to drive any LRCVB vehicle.
  • Must possess a forklift certification within one (1) year of employment and maintain license for the duration of employment in this position.
  • Must be available to work outside your normal working hours to include nights, holidays, and weekends as required.

This position may require one or more of the following pre-employment screenings: drug and alcohol screening, or background investigation.

LRCVB Benefits - Full-Time Employees
Health Insurance - Cigna - Emp only cost per pay period Base Plan: $14.98; Buy-up Plan: $42.79. Two (2) plans to choose from: Base Plan (High Deductible); Buy-up Plan (Point of Service)
  • Base Plan: $2,000 deductible (in network), 100% after deductible
  • Buy-up Plan: $1,500 deductible (in network), $35 co-pay for PCP - $60 co-pay for specialist; Prescription co-pays: $15, $35, $60 (Retail Specialty: $100 copay)
  • Effective 1st of the month following 30 days of regular full-time employment
Dental Insurance - Emp: $0; Emp & Spouse: $11.22; Emp & Child: $15.68; Family = $29.80 per pay period
  • MetLife Dental - $50 deductible except for Preventative Services
  • $0 deductible for Preventative Services
  • Maximum of $1,000 annual benefit per person per calendar year
  • Effective 1st of the month following 30 days of regular full-time employment
Vision Insurance - Emp: $2.81; Emp & Spouse, Emp & Child and Family: $6.59 per pay period
  • MetLife Vision - $0 deductible - co-pays and allowances; $10 co-pay for well vision exam (once every 12 months) plus $25 co-pay for materials lenses & frames or up to $60 co-pay for contact lens fitting & evaluation
  • $130 allowance for frames (once every 24 month frames/12 month lenses)
  • Or - Contact Lens - $130 allowance for contacts
  • Effective 1st of the month following 30 days of regular full-time employment
Life Insurance - LRCVB pays employee premium (dependent life not offered)
  • 2 times annual salary rounded to the nearest thousands of coverage to a maximum of $350,000
  • Effective 1st of the month following 30 days of regular full-time employment
Accidental Death and Dismemberment - LRCVB pays employee premium
  • 2 times annual salary rounded to the nearest thousands of coverage
  • Effective 1st of the month following 30 days of regular full-time employment
Long Term Disability - LRCVB pays employee premium
  • Effective the first day of the month following 30 days of regular full-time employment.
Pension - Automatic enrollment, effective the first day of regular full-time employment
  • Defined Benefits Plan: 4.5% employee contribution/9% employer contribution
  • Vested after 5 years of service; Normal retirement age is 65.
Flexible Spending Account/ Health Savings Account -
  • Choose from FSA (with Buy-up Plan), HSA (with Base Plan) or Dependent Care Expenses,
  • FSA - can enroll at Open Enrollment or after one year of service
  • HSA - can enroll during initial enrollment period or at Open Enrollment
Deferred Compensation - Arkansas Diamond Plan - employee contribution only, no employer contribution.
Voluntary Supplement Coverage - AFLAC (accident, cancer, etc.) voluntary insurance for employee, spouse and/or child(ren).
Tuition Assistance - $1,000 per semester, up to $3,000 per calendar year, available after 6 months of employment.
