$17.08
Performance Pay:

New hire experience:
1% of the base hourly rate granted for each year of verified like experience (within ten years) beyond the requirement, up to a five-year maximum
New hire education:
1% of the base hourly rate awarded for an AA or higher degree if not required for the position

OVERVIEW
To manage the Senior High school Audio Visual department to ensure a variety of services related to the distribution, maintenance, troubleshooting of Audio Visual equipment, media and materials; and to train, supervise and test students in the operation of various office and Audio Visual equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS

• High School education or equivalent
• Average proficiency in typing, with good accuracy; above average test battery
• Computer proficiency to include use of basic software applications (Word, Excel, etc)
• Knowledge and experience with Audio Visual equipment, standard office machines and computers
• Ability to perform minor maintenance of Audio Visual equipment, intercom and bells
• Ability to organize, prioritize, schedule workload and meet deadlines while working with frequent interruptions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of copyright and printing laws and regulations helpful
• Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with students, teachers and district personnel, etc

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Order and schedule films and rental materials for classroom use; order Audio Visual supplies and new non-book materials
• Train and supervise students in the operation of various office machines and Audio Visual equipment; test and grade students each nine weeks
• Provide Audio Visual services (i.e. laminating, dry mounting, sign making, video taping, etc)
• Circulate software and hardware to faculty and students
• Maintain inventory and location of school's computer and Audio Visual equipment
• Supervise use of viewing rooms and work with students
• Prepare documentation (letters, memos, forms, correspondence, etc) to convey information to the appropriate parties
• Regular and on-time attendance required
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
• Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
