We work closely with firmware, software, and hardware teams. Our goal is to design automated solutions to test new and existing features for AirPods, in a reliable manner. Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software development/testing experience with embedded systems.
  • 2+ years of lead/management experience.
  • Scripting skills (Python preferred). Familiarity with hardware and software interaction for embedded systems.
  • Strong advocate for quality, with good understanding of SQA methodologies & practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be self directed, analytical and work well in a large cross functional environment

Description
This is a high visibility role where you will drive the vision and charter of the Audio Test Automation team! You'll work to build fixtures to automate tests and share results. Your team will be responsible for ensuring that the different functional parts of the system are tested in an automated fashion. They will build, write and run tests and collect meaningful critical metrics to drive program quality. You will also be involved in understanding solutions your team provides and design a strategy for scale. This includes data collection and visualization.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400 and $316,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
