PART-TIME ATV/UTV Adventure Tour Guide

Location: Hurricane, UT

Are you an outdoor off-road enthusiast who is at least 23 years old, for insurance purposes, with a passion for adventure and a love for off-road exploration? We're seeking energetic and responsible individuals to join our team as ATV/UTV Adventure Tour Guides in Hurricane, UT. We are open 7 days a week and this position will REQUIRE WEEKENDS and 2 weekday! This is a perfect fit for most retired, semi-retired or people who do not NEED a full time income.

May be seasonal positions but we do like to keep some people year round.

Requirements:

• MUST currently reside in Washington County.
• MUST complete an in person interview.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug test.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be presentable to the public.
• Physical fitness and stamina for outdoor activities.
• Ability to work outdoors and weekends is a must.
• Ability to pull a 30+ foot trailer with our truck.
• Willingness to be trained on 2- & 3-day Grand Canyon Experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead ATV/UTVAdventure Tours, providing an exciting and safe experience for participants.
• Communicate effectively with tour groups, ensuring an enjoyable and informative journey.
• Conduct pre-tour equipment checks and ensure the proper maintenance of vehicles.
• Uphold safety standards and emergency procedures during tours.
• Provide assistance and guidance to guests as needed.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of local trails, landmarks, and the area is a big plus.
• Knowledge of or the ability to learn safety regulations is a must.
• Previous experience in outdoor guiding or related fields is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to handle various group dynamics.
• Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle repair.

Compensation:

• Lead Guides: $16.00 per hour plus 100% of tips. Our best lead guides average $60 - $120 an hour, not everyone will earn those amounts. Its up to how good you are.
• Monthly incentives.
• Able to use our equipment on your off time.
