Job description

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) has immediates for Attendant Care Employee - (ACE) in Dover, NH. Support is needed Tuesday and Thursday's from 6 pm to 8 pm, as well as Saturday's and Sunday's from 8 am to 10 am, 12 pm to 2 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm, with some flexibility.

Tasks include Hoyer lift transfers, bathing, toileting, and housekeeping.

ACE Qualifications include:

• LNA License is NOT required for this position.
• High school diploma not required for this position.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
• Adequate car insurance (if applicable)

ACE Duties and Responsibilities:

• Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating)
• Provide in-home care.
• Range of motion/exercises
• Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (will provide training if necessary)
• Medication assistance (reminding a consumer of when it is time to take their medication)
• Providing support in the community with running errands
