The Atlassian JIRA and Confluence administrator will serve as a toolsets developer responsible for customizing software development lifecycle tools such as JIRA Service Management, JIRA Software, and Confluence to aid in providing exceptional end users' experience when engaging with our support desk, while deploying the latest technological capabilities to improve service delivery.
This position is located in Fairfax, VA.
Work with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, design and estimate solutions, and develop/implement the solutions into Production
Lead customer review and approval of proposed solutions
Provide status to customers and the JIRA Project Manager on a regular basis Understand required team processes and mentor other team members on these processes
Research new JIRA capabilities and build repeatable processes for customers
When new functionality is requested by customers, review various options in order to provide analysis on possible solutions
US Citizenship is required by our customer.
5 year of experience performing requirements, design, development, and administration in software development lifecycle tools such as the Atlassian toolsets or equivalent
Experience rolling out advanced workflows
Experience developing custom plugins/functionality for the toolsets
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experienced in developing solutions to enable business process improvements
Knowledge of and application of best practices for Atlassian toolsets
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Hold an agile certification such as Scrum or willingness to get certified.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $76,300- $146,800.
