Shift:Days, Evenings, and Weekends. Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, plus required evening and weekend overtime hours.
Job Summary:This position reports to the Director of Ticket Operations and is responsible for coordinating and assisting with day-to-day operations of the ticket office unit, in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Assistant Manager will serve as the primary or secondary ticket office contact for assigned sports and/or special events. Based on departmental needs, he/she will administer all facets of ticketing and game day operations for these events throughout the year. This individual may also provide oversight for a post-graduate intern assigned to other Olympic sports. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other ticketing staff members to either manage or assist with various Ticket Operations functions, including but not limited to ticket/parking fulfillment, student ticketing, mobile ticket troubleshooting and fan education, support of ticket sales account executives, and coordination of administrative tasks. This position also provides front-line customer support by assisting with daily coverage of the inbound ticket office phone lines and email inboxes.The Assistant Manager will also work on special projects related to customer experience, retention, and revenue generation that are critical to sustaining growth while maintaining a strong operational foundation.This teammate will have a supervisory role on Football and Men’s Basketball gamedays and may assist with other ticketed events as needed. Position requires the ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in support of event schedules.
Must be able to comply with all SEC, University and NCAA rules and regulations.

Preferred Education/Experience:· One to two years of full-time experience in ticketing or a related field, preferably in college athletics. Full-time internships/Graduate Assistant experiences are applicable.· Prior experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.· Prior experience with ticketing systems and specifically, student Ticket Operations.· Prior experience in customer service, cash-handling procedures, and supervision of part-time staff.· Knowledge of sport ticketing responsibilities, including season ticket renewals, distribution processes, and gameday operations.· Familiar with NCAA and SEC procedures and protocols.
