Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Education: Minimum bachelor's degree or enrolled in a teaching program.
- Experience Required: Teaching experience preferred, but not required.
- Certification Required: Valid Louisiana teaching certificate preferred; if not, enrollment in alternate certification required.

Job Duties:
- Implement the Athlos Athletic curriculum, focused on the development of physically literate students.
- Appropriately differentiate activities to account for student's physical capabilities.
- Teach physical education in alignment with state standards.
- Plan, prepare and deliver instruction that engages students and provides academic growth.
- Ensure student growth and achievement in accordance with grade level.
- Model the Athlos culture.
- Responsible for tracking student attendance, behavioral issues and classroom events.
- Communicate with parent/guardians and the community in a professional manner.
- Participate in regular professional development.
- Communicate regularly with school leadership and other faculty to maximize effective instructional activities.
- Participate in the school's professional learning community to enhance learning objectives.
- Meet professional obligations by honoring schedules and deadlines.
- Other assigned duties.
