As the AssistantDirector of Clinical Services, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our Director of Clinical Services and clinical teams to contribute to that mission. These passionate team members will depend on you to maintain clear communication on patient, personnel, and service management and to be a reliable go-to problem solver.

On an average day, you will

  • Review patient care through ongoing communication with nursing staff and case managers;
  • Promote, review, and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of patient care practices
  • Coordinate clinical team schedules and assignments
  • Lead the clinical team by supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and corrective action, and competency testing
  • Plan, implement, and supervise in-service training for all clinical staff, including CNA's monthly
  • And perform additional, related duties as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications/Desired Skills

  • Are passionate about providing the best possible care to patients and their families
  • Excited at the idea of doing work that makes a difference while enjoying the perks of a great work/life balance
  • Have at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice
  • Have at least 1 year of nursing administration experience, preferably in hospice
  • Have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Love being the go-to person in the organization
  • And are ready to take the next big step in your career
