• Great Pay to $120K Immediate need for Asst Controller. This Assistant Controller Position Features: " Competitive salary " Medical and Dental Insurance. " 401K Immediate need for Assistant Controller Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely financial closings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. " Supervise and perform the maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries, overhead cost allocations, and cost center maintenance. " Work with and support the Controller in day to day activities, internal controls, and special projects. " Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures. Lead and assist in the development and implementation of such projects. " Oversee the operations and maintenance of the company wide cost accounting system. " Prepare cost reports and analysis for various departments. " Build and maintain budget and forecast profitability models for management. " Prepare and review Bank reconciliations. Qualification / Requirements: " BA/BS in Accounting, 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience. " Prior financial reporting/general ledger supervisory experience. " Proven "hands on" leader, who builds trust and respect in others. " Ability to collect, organize, analyze and report complex data. " Cost accounting experience, preferably in an agriculture environment. " Professional demeanor, high integrity, and personal accountability. " Experience with Famous Accounting Software preferred.
