Position Details

The Department of History ( https://history.indiana.edu/) at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for the newly endowed Stephen F. Cohen Chair. We seek a scholar of Russian History in the long Twentieth Century - including Soviet history, and Russia's Eurasian borderlands and contact zones - committed to excellence in scholarship and teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels. We anticipate that the successful candidate will be hired at full or associate level, but outstanding junior candidates with a proven research record are encouraged to apply. This position is tenured/tenure-track. Ph.D. is required at time of appointment.
