VCACommack Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarianto complement our talented team in East Northport, New York.

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians.  We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

We are very team-oriented group; our doctors are very happy to help one another out on each other’s cases. We have digital radiography for whole body as well as dental radiographs. We also offer cold laser therapy. We just recently received our very own Ultrasound machine that we very much enjoy offering as a service to our patients.

We have a 4-week rotating schedule for our doctors which allows for them to be able to get one to two, 3-4-day weekends, which our doctors really seem to enjoy. We are currently open 6 days a week (Mon-Fri: 8-6, Sat. 8-4)

We are located in an upper middle-class community which allows for our clients to approve treatment plans more often than not. Prior to the pandemic our team enjoyed many fun events together during the year, including kayaking events, bowling, and other fun outings. We have a close-knit team, with many working together for over 10 years.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.  The annual salary range for this position is $120K - $150K.  This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
